EAS Group announces new Managing Director in The Netherlands
Eurofins Agroscience Services, the leading global service provider of agrochemical testing is pleased to announce that Wilbert Flier will join EAS Group on September 1st 2021 taking up the role of Managing Director of Eurofins | De Bredelaar BV as of January 1st 2022.
With more than 30 years’ experience in agricultural research and development, Wilbert has worked in technical and management positions across the Crop Protection industry.
An experienced professional, Wilbert has a background in crop protection research at Wageningen University and has held several roles in major agrochemical R&D companies including Corteva and DuPont. He joins EAS Group from FMC Crop Protection where he held the role of EMEA Field Development & Data Management Leader.
This appointment marks the departure of Frans Van Tilburg, current MD of Eurofins | De Bredelaar BV. EAS Group welcomed Frans to the team in 2015, after acquiring De Bredelaar B.V., a long established Dutch CRO. Frans’ contribution to the success of the EAS Group and his dedication to provision of excellent service has been truly appreciated. Frans will remain in situ for a transition phase and will continue to contribute to and support EAS Group in the future as a consultant on specific projects.
Alongside his role as Managing Director, NL, running day-to-day operations, Wilbert will also further coordinate and develop EAS Group’s biological service portfolio for crop protection in the European Field cluster.
This appointment demonstrates EAS Group’s commitment to strengthening its global management structure and to developing biological control services, continually developing its global portfolio to better respond to our clients’ challenges.
