Eurofins Agroscience Services establishes JV in South Africa
South Africa will require residue trials to be GLP compliant from 2020 onward due to evolving legislation.
Anticipating these changes, Eurofins Agroscience Services, a global GLP expert, established a joint venture in 2018 named “The residue experts PTY LTD,” comprising three South African field contractors offering complete coverage of the South African region. Bringing together our global expertise and the local expert knowledge of these select contractors, we have already successfully collaborated for GLP Import tolerance studies, requiring a local presence and agronomic experience.
In recent months, steps have been taken to establish the GLP organisation culminating in an application for the accreditation at SANAS, the South African National Accreditation System. We expect to receive the accreditation by the end of Q3/19.
