Ground breaking! UAS ULV application of adulticide

Eurofins Agroscience Services has successfully conducted an aerial ULV adulticide application study using a PrecisionVision 600 P Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) developed by Leading Edge Associates, Inc. 

In collaboration with Leading Edge Associates, Inc.. and East Side Mosquito Abatement, the PrecisionVision UAS was deployed to carry out a spray mission targeting Culex mosquitoes in Modesto, California.



Conducted in June, it was the first aerial adulticide application study using an UAS for mosquito control in the US.  The Public Health services team from EAS in North Carolina carried out the study, led by our in-house expert Jing Zhai - please contact Jing with any enquiries.
