Taking pictures with a special camera and using specific set-up protocol results in almost unbelievable clarity of contrast ranges within a single picture. This enables us to get reliable, sharp and detailed information from the brightest cell up to the darkest cells in the comb – no matter if the cell is in the center or at the border of the comb.
