Eurofins performs Global Retailer and Manufacturing Alliance (GRMA) audits

The Global Retailer and Manufacturing Alliance (GRMA) aims to enhance consistency and harmonisation for GMP compliance across the food, healthcare and cosmetics industries.

GRMA has developed its own certification programme by harmonising existing criteria of top retailers and regulatory bodies with the aim to simplify audit processes for retailers, manufacturers and their suppliers. The programme covers three health and wellness product categories which are:

• Dietary food supplements
• Over-the-counter drugs
• Cosmetics, personal care, health & beauty aids

Eurofins Food Assurance is delighted to be an authorised certification body by GRMA and to be providing audits to suppliers of GRMA members, ultimately improving GMP compliance. Eurofins Food Assurance has also started the process to become fully approved and achieve accreditation to the GRMA’s Dietary Supplement, Cosmetic, and Over-the-Counter Drug certification programme.
