Agriculture and aquaculture producers, from independent farmers to larger groups, need to comply to recognised standards in order to increase consumer and customer confidence in their product safety. GlobalG.A.P. is a certification programme composed of a set of voluntary standards which allow food producers to demonstrate safe and sustainable production and access to global markets. 

What is GlobalG.A.P.? 

GlobalG.A.P. has been developed in order to fulfill the key objective of a safe and sustainable agriculture worldwide and is recognised globally and by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). 

GlobalG.A.P. regroups a set of standards developed at consumer and industry request for good agricultural practices (G.A.P.), health and safety guidance for workers and animal welfare. 

The certification programme supports farmers to connect with retailers worldwide and sell their safe products. 

The scope of GlobalG.A.P. is:
