Client's Challenge

A Client in the New England area had a large number of temporary employees all reaching maximum duration simultaneously which would have caused a huge disruption in work.

Our Solution

To transition the current temporary resources to Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions® network of companies, a long term solution offering full-time employment to these temporary resources.  PSS employs and manages full-time employees to perform a defined scope of work at the client facility. Our project-based insourcing solutions are specifically designed to give clients laboratory services support with flexible timeframes and no worries about co-employment and other regulatory concerns, at lower costs than fixed headcounts.

Results

PSS was able to transition all temporary employees.  There was minimal work disruption during on-boarding after which time the entire group of PSS employees were able to return to the client site and continue service.  There is tremendous value for the client to capitalize on the initial investment of training and have continued service through a long term, co-employment compliant program.  As a result of meeting on-site business needs and exceeding service expectations, PSS has grown to nearly 200 PSS employees supporting on-site business needs at this client’s global sites, with more than 70 employees at the New England site.
