Hair Care market fast growing in Korea

 

The Korean hair care market is growing steadily at an average of 7% per year, keeping up with the market growth globally. The functional hair care market, in particular – which claims additional benefits, along with the traditional functions of hair and scalp nutrition and hair glossiness – is leading the market. In 2018, anti-hair-loss products became functional cosmetics in Korea, and are now the main player in the functional hair care market. Recently, ‘dye shampoo’, which darkens hair colour just by washing, has emerged as a game-changer.
