Eurofins Acquires Grant4Com Testing Services
Eurofins Consumer Product Testing in Finland is proud to announce the acquisition of Grant4Com Oy testing services by Eurofins Scientific.
Grant4Com is an EN-ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test laboratory from Oulu, Finland (FINAS T290), providing a wide range of electrical, electronic and mechanical product testing and certification services.
The acquisition includes testing services, as well as equipment, premises, staff and know-how. After the acquisition, the combined service portfolio will allow customers of both Eurofins and Grant4Com to have access to a comprehensive range of fully accredited testing and consultation services.
This acquisition expands on the existing expertise in the product testing market. Further, it demonstrates Eurofins commitment to providing a state-of-the-art portfolio of testing, certification and product approval services to customers across Finland and further afield. Customers will be able to expand their markets with the comprehensive GMA (Global Market Access) services provided by Eurofins E&E, allowing them to obtain country-specific approvals and certifications quickly and cost-effectively.
The addition of the EMC, RF and Product Testing capabilities of Grant4Com and the Audio, Mechanical and Environmental test services will give customers a single point of contact for all aspects of product compliance and certification, greatly enhancing the ease of accessing local, regional and global markets.
