It contains the regulatory framework establishing the requirements and key criteria concerning energy efficiency labelling to be met by all appliances that consume electricity for their operation. It applies to the following appliances: Refrigerators, coolers, freezers and combinations thereof, electric washing machines, televisions and television monitors, air conditioners, incandescent and halogen lamps with tungsten filaments, fluorescent lamps, electric microwave ovens, electric storage water heaters, single- and three-phase induction motors.
