Eurofins E&E (Electrical and Electronics) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Korea Compliance Testing Laboratories (“KCTL”) of South Korea by Eurofins Scientific.
The acquisition of KCTL is a further milestone in the expansion of E&E testing services for Eurofins in Asia. It follows the recent acquisition of ATL in Taiwan, expanding the scope of services available through the growing global network of Eurofins E&E laboratories.
This acquisition adds significant capabilities to those already available and positions Eurofins E&E at the forefront of testing, certification and product approval services, both within Asia and globally, further demonstrating its commitment to support international clients worldwide in their product compliance journey via its extensive network of E&E labs in North America, Europe and Asia.
KCTL provides extensive product testing, certification and approval services across a wide range of industries and sectors, including consumer electronics and ICT products, medical devices, wireless/RF products and lighting, and the automotive and military sectors.
KCTL services include the provision of 5G NR sub-6GHz, mmWave, and Wi-Fi 6E capabilities, as well as extensive EMC, RF, SAR, Safety, CTIA-accredited OTA, Global Market Access, Reliability, Korea MFDS (Korean FDA) approved medical testing, and Korea Certification Mark (KC) testing.
With KCTL’s capacity of four 10 meter chambers across South Korea, KCTL is ideally placed to serve the region’s significant R&D and manufacturing locations and meet global manufacturers’ needs for product testing and certification.
