Amending Annex II, III and VI of Cosmetics Regulation

 

On 13 November 2020, the European Commission published the following amendments related to cosmetics products:

 

Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/1682 of 12 November 2020 amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products

 

The main indicated amendment in this regulation affects Annex III where the following entries are added related to nail products:

From 3 June 2021, products containing these substances and not complying with these conditions shall not be placed on the Union market. From 3 September 2021, products containing these substances and not complying with these conditions shall not be made available on the Union market.

Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them.’
