VOC emissions testing – validation study now is available.

During the development of a horizontal method for testing VOC emissions CEN TC 351 and its WG 2 commissioned a study of robustness validation - meaning how a change of any testing parameter (such as temperature) will impact the test result. The work was performed by a consortium of 9 laboratories from 6 EU Member States.

TC 351 WG 2 used the results for confirming or changing details of the testing method.

The horizontal standard goes through formal vote in TC 351 right now. Publication is expected in July 2013 as CEN/S 16516.
