Eurofins Dermscan Poland Sp. Z.O.O.

Eurofins Dermscan Poland, located in Gdansk since 2008, assesses the safety and efficacy of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. The laboratory boasts a range of measuring devices in its 700 sqm in vivo clinical testing laboratory.

Medically supervised studies can be conducted on "target" groups (pregnant women, children, adolescents, etc.) or on skin pathologies (acne, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, stretch marks, etc.) with the approval of an ethics committee. Eurofins Dermscan Poland also carries out on-site dermatological treatments: for example laser and peeling and also tests a range of pre and post-treatment products.

An in vitro testing laboratory was also established in 2013 in Gdansk, to study the safety of cosmetic products. The laboratory can respond to customer needs through the facilitation of eye and skin irritation tests, phototoxicity testing, percutaneous absorption, microbiological analysis, and more.
