Announcement: Derma Tronnier joins Eurofins

As part of our strategy to strengthen capabilities in Cosmetics & Personal Care, and to expand our footprint in Germany, Eurofins today announced that it has closed the acquisition of Derma Tronnier.

The acquisition of this German Contract Research Organization will complement Eurofins Cosmetics & Personal Care’s 15 state-of-the-art clinical laboratories all over the world, in order to support our customers by developing high-performing and safe products.

In fact, Derma Tronnier will allow us to expand our portfolio of clinical studies, thanks to their strong research in the fields of cosmetics and food supplements. It will be an additional centre for driving future studies and innovation in clinical trials.

Yann Agustin, Managing Director Cosmetics & Personal Care Product Testing Europe, commented, “We are pleased to welcome on board Derma Tronnier’s team. This acquisition will expand our capabilities in Germany and will even further strengthen our expertise in the field of clinical testing, adding highly recognised scientists to our network.”

Ulrike Heinrich, Scientific Director of Derma Tronnier, said, “As a member of Derma Tronnier since the foundation of the institute, I am very glad that we now belong to the Eurofins family, in order to guarantee the continuance and growing of this well-known test institute.”

Nicole Braun, Deputy Scientific Director of Derma Tronnier, said, “We very much appreciate being a part of Eurofins, and we look forward to fruitful cooperation and the exchange of great expertise between us and the valuable worldwide testing institutes that are part of Eurofins.”

The company will hereafter be referred to as “Eurofins Derma Tronnier”.
