Eurofins E&E’s Accreditation now includes Railway Cybersecurity

Eurofins Electric & Electronics Finland’s accreditation scope now includes railway cybersecurity technical specification TS 50701.

Our Finas accredited and independent safety assessment(ISA) body IO57 can now assess railway related products and systems cybersecurity according to TS 50701.

The expansion of the accreditation scope strengthens Eurofins Electric & Electronics Finland’s already extensive railway testing, inspection and assessment services.

T50701:2021 Railway applications – Cybersecurity will be the basis of IEC’s work which will in the future become the railway cybersecurity standard IEC 63452 Ed q applications – Cybersecurity. This standard will very likely be the EU harmonized standard for railway regulation with which the responsible party can prove conformity.
