Humanitarian help to Ukraine & refugees - Vent d'Est

Vent d'Est

Vent d'Est is an association that was created in 2002. Its first actions were directed towards a home for underprivileged children in Chisinau, the Moldavian capital city.
In 2005, following the reorganisation of the children's homes by the Moldovan government, Vent d'Est ceased its action in Chisinau and reoriented itself towards rural Moldova, where a large part of the national poverty is concentrated.

Eurofins Foundation's support enabled Vent d'Est to continue to support 4 refugee centres with (fresh) food but also hygiene and household products, for around 300 people.
Vent d'Est also organised convoys of food, hygiene products and baby food to Ukraine in the Ivanoska region, about 70 kilometres from Odessa. This aid is aimed at a very poorly supported region where there are 230 displaced people from Mariupol and Kharkov.
