Les Oursins - Enfants des Trottoirs (Philippines)

In 1995, Aurore Prudent Roiland created the association Les Oursins* – Enfants des Trottoirs, which aims to improve the situation of vulnerable children in the Philippines.

She has observed the hardships that street children face in their daily lives, and founded Les Oursins* – Enfants des Trottoirs to address this situation by maximising the modes of expression for children through play.

Since then, Les Oursins* has supported street and slum children suffering from a wide range of social issues and vulnerabilities, empowering them by providing better sanitary conditions, regular meals, social support and education. Les Oursins* gives these children the means to rebuild, recover and choose their future.

In 2021/2022, the Eurofins Foundation contributed to the “Health, Sanitation and Medical Project”, working to improve children's health by providing them with clean drinking water and dental care, setting up a game library, and restoring decent hygiene in bathrooms.

In 2022/2023, the Eurofins Foundation renews its support to the organization, to help them extend their action towards more children aged 4 -12.
