Child 10

Child 10 was founded in 2014 to support children who are vulnerable and exploited, and to fight child trafficking. Child 10 supports children seeking refuge in Europe, working to enhance their safety, inclusion and integration. They aim to reduce these children’s exposure to discrimination and racism by giving them access to caring communities and legal support.

In many ways the world is changing for the better, but at the same time children around us are living in extremely vulnerable situations, exposed to violence and exploitation. The stories of these children are untold, and their voices, ignored and unheard.

Every year, Child 10 gathers and awards ten exceptionally bold individuals from around the world who fight to protect the most vulnerable children in our communities. The aim is to recognise their brave and relentless struggle to protect and prevent child abuse, exploitation and violations, and to share their stories.

In 2020, Eurofins Foundation’s donation allowed Child10 to strengthen multi-national collaboration between organisations working around the Mediterranean. Through workshops, advocacy and sharing of best practices, they have developed new methods and fostered sustainable collaboration. Child10 also succeeded in strengthening the capacity of these organisations, ensuring their long-term sustainability and impact.
