Amino Acid Testing
Amino acids are basic structural units for proteins. An amino acid consist of an amino group, a carboxyl group, a hydrogen atom and a distinctive R group, all of which are bound to a carbon atom (expect proline). All proteins are constructed from a set of only 20 different amino acids.
Eurofins Amino Acid Competence Centre is able to determine 20 different amino acids either as free amino acids or as total amino acids (free + natural). We have different packages for the 20 different amino acids and if you need a specific combination we will be able to find a solution for you. The amino acids that we determine are:
